Welcome to Varsity Driving Academy Great Oak High School!
For students at Great Oak High School, we offer a free pick-up and drop-off service for behind the wheel training sessions. This is to ensure that every student can feel confident they are getting the absolute best in driving training available.
Services
Online School
Student’s busy schedules make for a difficult time cramming in extra studies. We recognize that as an opportunity to give students more freedom and teach online. Through our online courses, each student can log-in when they’re available and log out when they need to leave. All progress made will be saved to their account, so pick up where you left off whenever you want. The online course offers the same 30 hours of study that the DMV requires. Our trained professionals will be available to answer any and all questions over the phone during this portion of the learning experience
Behind-The-Wheel Training
In order to validate your learners permit we will need to complete the first driving session with a trainer asap.This step is required by the DMV. In order to provide the best learning retention we can, each session is 2-hours long and during that time our trainers will be going over defensive driving. We also like to find out what a student’s strengths and weaknesses are by having one-on-one time. DMV requires 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training, that translates into three 2-hour sessions. We also offer our car to the student to use not only during training sessions but to take their final DMV test!
DMV Package
There is a special DMV package that comes with a concierge-like experience available for all our students. If chosen, we make appointments with the DMV to take the final test. We even will pick up the student 1-hour before the test for a little practice and then, hand over the keys to use our car for the test. Veronica Perez is one of our fantastic instructors who will help you on your path to getting your license. Veronica has been driving for over 40 years and has learned plenty about defensive driving. Using what she has learned, Veronica will show you the ins and outs of the road.
