Mission Viejo High School Driver’s Ed Services
Online Learning
The basics are very important, but learning how to drive safely is even more important. We also believe that online learning is the easiest way for busy students to learn the basics of driving during their busy lifestyles. Students create a username and password, log in and get some hours done.
When students log out, they can save any progress for when they return. Questions are part of the learning process, so during their sessions, our fully trained and certified staff is available to answer any questions related to our curriculum.
Behind-The-Wheel Training
The DMV has set requirements to ensure the best possible chance of learning how to drive. These requirements include a 6-month practice period before taking the final license test. We take advantage of that time with a minimum of 3 2-hour practice sessions.
We like to spread them out, but students are free to schedule each session as they’d like. Our sessions include a pick-up and drop-off service, if needed. We will pick up students, then drop them off at home after our session.
Our certified instructors help students put everything they’ve learned online into practice. We keep a lookout for each student’s strengths and weaknesses to tailor our sessions to them.
DMV Package
This package allows students and parents to rest assured that we make all appointments with the DMV. This helps everyone learn without any added stress that could hinder the process. For your final test with the DMV, we pick you up, let you use our certified car for the test, and once you’ve passed, we will even do a little dance with you and take your first photo to share with friends and family.

Varsity Driving Academy Trainer Spotlight
Steve holds a master’s degree in education and has worked with people, young and old, across many fields as a teacher, a mentor, and a coach. When working with students, his focus is on safely building confidence and creating conscientious drivers.
