Ralph J. Redington 5k/10k Run

Another way to get out on the Fourth of July in Irvine is to run the Ralph J. Redington 5/k or even 10k! This run is being hosted by the Woodbridge Village Association and starts at the North Lake Gazebo on Barranca Parkway. The event is made up of three different runs.

You can sign up for the 5k, the 10k, or the kids run. There will be special shirts and awards for this year’s event as well. This is a great way to spend your day before heading out to see some fireworks later in the evening.

Pacific Symphony: Albert-George Schram – July 4 Spectacular: The Music of Queen

One of the last July 4th things to do in Irvine is the Pacific Symphony. The Symphony is back this year with a celebration that utilizes the music of Queen. The event is being held at the FivePoint Amphitheater and there will be fireworks during the event.

The entire event starts at 8 pm and tickets are almost completely sold out. But there are still seats available starting at $79. You will hear Queen in a whole new way, with an entire symphony playing beneath the night sky lit up with fireworks.
