When you live in the Newport Beach area where you live will determine which high school you can attend. One of the most obvious boundaries for Newport Harbor High is the coastline. Even the northern border is relatively simple as it is the Santa Ana River. From the river, things get a little more difficult.

The border follows along W 19th St. until it hits Highway 55. The border stays following highway 55 until it hits Mesa Dr. and goes until Santa Ana Avenue. From there, the boundary follows along Newport Bay until it hits the ocean again. The boundary does include the entire Newport Pier as well.

Newport Beach High School | Corona del Mar High School

The Corona del Mar High School boundary is another fairly simple boundary as it follows along the coast. Once the boundary meets the Newport Harbor High School boundary at the Newport Bay. The northern boundary follows along Newport Bay until it hits highway 73.

Then, the border follows along highway 73 south until Coastal Peak Park. The border stays within the park boundaries until it gets to about 5 miles away from the coast. The border then heads north until it hits Newport Coast Dr. where it makes a sharp turn west until it meets the ocean again.
