40th Annual Orange County Black History Parade and Faire | Feb. 1, 2020
One of the best ways to start February is to attend the 40th Annual Orange County Black History Parade and Faire. This event is the first thing on the calendar for Feb 2020 things to do for teens in Orange County. This even starts with the exhibit at MUZEO Museum & Cultural Center at 8 am. The parade starts on Anaheim Boulevard at 10 am. There will also be a cultural faire on Center Street Promenade with a music festival, youth village, food, health, and even a car and motorcycle show.
Lunar New Year Celebration | Feb. 1, 2020
The Irvine Spectrum Center is a great place to spend the day in Orange County. In fact, there is an entire event calendar just for the Irvine Spectrum Center. One of the best Feb 2020 things to do for teens in Orange County is the Lunar New Year Celebration at the Irvine Spectrum Center. This event is a short one from 12 pm until 2 pm. However, there will be a lot packed into those 2 hours. You will see a Chinese dragon dance, lion dance, fortune cookies, lucky envelopes and plenty of arts & crafts. Stores at the Center will also be hosting special sales so keep an eye out for those as well.
The Queen Mary’s Scots Festival | Feb. 15-16, 2020
This is one of those Feb 2020 things to do for teens in Orange County that isn’t in Orange County. However, you can safely drive to the event and it is definitely worth the trip. This is the 27th annual event and there will be plenty to do all weekend long. The games will include Highland dancing, athletics, piping, drumming, massed bands, and darts. You can also watch as people compete in sheepherding, axe-throwing, reenactments, and live entertainment. There will be so much to do, see, taste, and hear that you will feel like you are in Scotland.
3rd Annual Hearts & Heroes 5K | Feb. 15, 2020
You can join in on the third annual Hearts & Heroes 5K as one of the best Feb 2020 things to do for teens in Orange County. This event celebrates the lives of children who are often overlooked. The event starts on the 15th at 7:30 am at Grace OC and follow the route to Yorba Regional Park and Santa Ana Trail. There will also be a pancake breakfast after the race and finisher medals. All proceeds from the event will go towards foster children.
Paws Fur Pink 5K & 1 Mile | Feb. 22, 2020
Many of us have pets and we love our pets. This event is not only a dog-friendly event, but it is also benefiting the Orange County Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. You can bring your dog to this 5K and celebrate the day with your pet. The race starts at 8 am and registration is now open.
