From Orange County, more than a couple of cities made the list. In fact, the safest place to drive in California, according to this study is Irvine, California. Irvine made it to number 39 on the list which puts it in the lower half of the safest cities to drive in. A couple of other cities in Orange County made the list as well like Anaheim at number 74, and Santa Ana at number 81. The metrics that were looked at which determined which cities were safest included things like city infrastructure, traffic conditions, ownership and maintenance costs, and access to vehicles and maintenance.
